Bio
Vassiliki Zouloumi is a self-taught artist born in Pyrgos Ilias in 1992. Currently residing in Athens, Vassiliki works as a Mathematics professor while also undertaking freelance graphic design work.
She holds a degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has attended various seminars on Art, Graphic Design, and Animation, such as the Alternative Decoration seminar at the "Vrysaki Hall" in 2015 and the "The Natural Materials project" and she was participated in group exhibition at the "European Center of Architecture and Urban Studies",

This season, she is attending a seminar to perfect her skills in After Effects seminar to broaden her knowledge in animation. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, Vassiliki brings a unique perspective to all of her projects.
About
Vassiliki is a self-taught artist, who is inspired by classic painters and artistic currents and she attempts to adapt them to modern social and political conditions. The female figure appears in her artworks in various forms, highlighting her awareness of the women rights themes. In some of her artworks, you will also notice some mathematical-geometrical elements, since her studies in mathematics provoked her to study the works and philosophy of M.C.Escher and Kandinsky and triggered her desire to combine mathematics and science with art. Recently, her love for nostalgia and antiques has led her to delve deeper into exploring and incorporating more traditional designs.
